Lena first visited Sweden 2005-2006 through an exchange program via Danshögskolan and discovered Pilates during that period. After graduating with a BSc degree in fine arts at UQAM (Enseignement de la danse, Université du Québec à Montréal), she focused on performing and teaching dance for high school students. Training has always been important in her life, both to maintain and keep the body from injuries and to stay healthy.
In 2010, Lena initiated STOTT PILATES® teachers training course in Montreal, which was meant as a way to help herself and fellow dance colleagues and teachers to strengthen their bodies. She received her first certification in 2016 (matwork and reformer).
“Stockholm Pilates Center isn’t just my work place, it’s also my school. Everyday I learn something new and I continuously continue to develop.”
Lena has a great interest in helping others become more aware of their bodies and ways to incorporate a healthy life style. This also includes a great interest in nutrition. Lena teaches in Swedish and English, and sometimes a combination of both, with the possibility to teach in French.
