The name Garuda origins from a mythological bird, transforming itself based on function. The movement is a flow of rotations and three-dimensional movements challenging your mental and physical strength while demanding complete concentration.
By building a greater body awareness, agility, good posture and a relaxed way of moving is created. The layers of connective tissue; the fascia, transmits power between the muscles in the body and is an important component in the training. Your breath will guide you through your movements, induce body heat and increase energy. The training can be performed on a mat, by a barre and in the powerful Garuda machine.
Garuda combines the flow and spiritual element in yoga with the focus and core work from Pilates into an organic type of training, creating a centered, agile and strong body and mind. Garuda will restore and create physical vitality.
