General terms for membership and training products – Stockholm Pilates Center
1. General terms
These general terms for membership and training products, (”the Membership terms”), are valid between you, (”the Member”, ”you”, ”your”) and Pilates Forum Norden AB, Corp. ID no. 556760-5992, (”Stockholm Pilates Center”, ”we”, ”us”, and ”our”), when purchasing membership and training products provided by us. A valid membership is a prerequisite for purchasing our training products. These membership terms, in common with Safety regulations and code of conduct – Stockholm Pilates Center constitute the (”Membership Agreement”). The Membership Agreement is valid during the period you have a valid membership.
2. Purchasing terms
When you make a purchase from us, you consent to all the terms included in the Membership Agreement.
For purchasing training products, some product-specific terms apply, varying dependent on the training product you choose. You will find the product-specific terms for different training products under the “Group training” and “PT” tabs on our web site, (www.pilates-center.se). When purchasing any of the training products Stockholm Pilates Center provides, the product-specific terms for your training product apply and take precedence over the Membership terms if they are in conflict.
If you make a purchase through our web site, we will send you an order confirmation through e-mail, confirming your order. Purchase agreements are not valid until we have confirmed your order, and when you have received an order confirmation through e-mail.
We reserve the right to deny an order, for example, if you have given wrongful information or if the order cannot be fulfilled due to the required product being sold out.

You can find the current price list for membership and training products on our web site, see https://en.pilates-center.se/pricelist.html. All indicated prices include VAT.
Stockholm Pilates Center can change the price of membership/training product. Though, price changes will not be backdated, entailing that you will pay the price in force when you made your purchase. Note that other rules apply for Direct Debit, read more about this under item 8, (Direct Debit), below.
Purchases made on Stockholm Pilates Center’s premises can be made with credit card, swish or by invoice. If you choose to pay by invoice, the payment period is 10 days.
For purchases from our web site, payment can be made through one of the payment methods available on the web site. For payment by invoice, the payment period is 10 days. The invoice is sent to your registered e-mail address.
In case of delayed payment, Stockholm Pilates Center have the right to charge penal interest on arrears and administrative fees, as well as charges for collection of debts.
8. Direct Debit
You can only choose Direct Debit as a method of payment if you are over 18 years old. Otherwise, the written approval of a guardian is required.
It is your own responsibility to give your written consent for transfers through Direct Debit. The information required for consent includes your full name and address, Swedish personal Identification number/corporate identification number, and bank details.
The monthly fees are deducted consecutively the 27th of each month. The first and last transfer through Direct Debit during the agreement period usually comprise a monthly fee for a shorter and longer period than a full month. When starting and restarting a Direct Debit membership, a starting fee is charged for the Direct Debit membership according to the current price list.
If the sufficient funds are not available at your account on the day of the transfer, we will send a reminder invoice for the due amount through e-mail, to the e-mail address you stated when giving your consent for Direct Debit. If the reminder invoice is not paid within the stated payment period, the debt will be subject to collection and we reserve the right to charge penal interest on arrears under the Interest Act, as well as invoicing, reminder, and collecting fees.
We reserve the right to change the Direct Debit terms, (including the current prices for single fees, monthly fees, and other fees). Changes of the Direct Debit terms will be notified at least 2 months before the changes come into force. If Stockholm Pilates Center changes the Direct Debit terms, you have the right to cancel your Direct Debit Membership in writing, within 14 days from our notice to you regarding the new terms. Otherwise, your Direct Debit Membership will continue to run. If you cancel your Direct Debit Membership, it will expire the day before the changes come into force. Otherwise, Direct Debit memberships can be cancelled after the commitment period of your Direct Debit Membership expired, with 2 months’ notice. The notice must be in writing.
9. Extension of membership or training product due to exceptional circumstances
We can freeze, (and thus extend), the Membership and all training products, except Direct Debit, or the above can be immediately terminated due to exceptional circumstances. Extension of membership or a training product requires that injury, illness, or pregnancy is verified through a valid certificate stating the cause and the time period for freezing the membership/training product. A valid certificate must be issued by a physician, midwife, naprapath, or similar treatment professional. Application for extension must be carried out before the validity period of the current membership/training product expires. For members taking a course, the last valid date is the date when the course is finished. Extension amounts to least 30 days and 365 days at the most.
10. The right of withdrawal for distance purchases
When purchasing training products outside the premises of Stockholm Pilates Center you have the right of withdrawal within 14 days without due cause. If you want to use your right of withdrawal, you have to notify us within 14 days from the day you received the order confirmation, (the “cooling-off period”). If you have used the membership or the training product you purchased, we will make a deduction corresponding to the time you used from the membership/training product from the amount to be refunded.
If you want to use the right of withdrawal, send a clear notification to Stockholm Pilates Center before the cooling-off period ends. For prompt management, the notification should include [your name], [your address], [invoice number], [mobile], [e-mail address] and the membership/training product(-s) concerned, if your order includes more than one. The notification can be sent through mail or e-mail to the address stated on our web site. Otherwise, use the standard form for the right of withdrawal from the Swedish Consumer Agency, see here or contact us, we will send you a form.
If you regret your purchase, we will refund all payments we have received from you, (with a deduction of any use according to the above). The refund will be performed without undue delay, and in any case, at the latest 14 days from the day we were notified of your decision to use your right of withdrawal. The refund will be carried out through the payment method you chose in your order if no other explicit agreement has been made. In any case, the refund will be free of charge.

12. Responsibilities
Stockholm Pilates Center is not responsible for personal injuries or damages to property, caused by you or another Member when staying on Stockholm Pilates Center's premises. Though, Stockholm Pilates Center is responsible for damages to property caused by faulty or inferior training equipment if due to neglect or carelessness by the staff of Stockholm Pilates Center.
13. Force Majeure
If Stockholm Pilates Center cannot perform its obligations in a significant manner due to unforeseen circumstances, independent of Stockholm Pilates Center, or which could have been foreseen, avoided, or surmounted within reason, are accepted as grounds for exemption from Stockholm Pilates Center’s liability for damages or other consequences. The circumstances according to the above include damage from fire or flooding, other damage, or significant damages on the premises of Stockholm Pilates Center, strike, lock-out, war, terrorist threat, or natural disaster.
If Stockholm Pilates Center is prevented from fulfilling its obligations during a continuing period of at least 3 months, the Member has the right to cancel the Membership Agreement in writing with immediate effect.
14. Complaints, disputes, and legislation
Stockholm Pilates Center always strives to make you, as a member, satisfied with your membership. If you want to make a complaint or a point of view, you are always welcome to contact us. You will find our contact information under item 11, (Notifications), above.
The Membership Agreement is to be interpreted and applied according to Swedish law.
15. Changes of the Membership terms
Stockholm Pilates Center reserves the right to save the Membership terms. When changing the Membership terms, the Member is notified according to item 11 above, before the change comes into force. If Stockholm Pilates Center changes the Membership terms, the Member always has the right to cancel the Membership. If the Member cancels the Membership Agreement, it will expire the day before the change comes into force. In addition, the Member has the right to a refund of the fee for the training product, corresponding to the period left to use after the cancellation comes into force. Cancellation is to be performed within 14 days from the day you were informed about the changes.

17. Subscription Upgrade
If you have an existing Direct Debit subscription with Pilates Forum Norden AB, you hereby agree that said subscription will be immediately terminated and replaced by this subscription as specified in the agreement. You are obligated to pay any price differences between the subscriptions for the period you have already been charged up to this date.

3. Membership in Stockholm Pilates Center
- The membership is personal and can only be used by the individual member.
- The membership cannot be transferred.
- People over the age of 13 can apply for membership. If the member is not yet 18 years of age, the membership must be approved in writing by a legal guardian, trustee, or administrator.
- You undertake to follow the Safety regulations and code of conduct - Stockholm Pilates Center ("Code of conduct").
- Stockholm Pilates Center reserve the right to deny membership for applicants who do not meet the membership requirements.
4. The member’s responsibilities
- Training is carried out on your own risk and responsibility.
- Members and other guests are responsible for their own state of health to the extent that they, without risk, can participate in the activities at Stockholm Pilates Center.
- It is the member’s own responsibility to bring the personal membership card along for all group training sessions or when staying on the premises of Stockholm Pilates Center.
- The member is obliged to notify Stockholm Pilates Center of important changes, affecting the membership. Such information includes, e.g. if the Member no longer is eligible for a student discount.
5. Changes in opening hours and product selection
- Stockholm Pilates Center reserves the right to make minor changes regarding opening hours, equipment, the schedule for group training, as well as trainers as needed.
- Stockholm Pilates Center reserves the right to close off parts of the premises if necessary, e.g. for minor renovation, repairs, maintenance, and service work, as well as during in-house training.
- Stockholm Pilates Center reserves the right to change course dates or cancel a planned course due to the number of applications or other circumstances, extraneous to Stockholm Pilates Center’s area of responsibility.
6. Period of validity and cancellation of membership
- During a prolonged period of illness, (confirmed by a valid certificate), we will freeze the membership/training product, entailing that it will be extended for the period when you cannot use your membership or training product. In special circumstances, when an extension is impossible, a Member may apply for premature cancellation of the membership and a refund of the training product. The application is done according to item 9, (Extension of membership or training product due to exceptional circumstances), below.
- Stockholm Pilates Center has the right to cancel a membership/training product immediately, permanent or temporary, if the Member violates the Membership Agreement in the manner stated below and not do perform a correction within 14 days after the request from Stockholm Pilates Center.
- The Member neglects the monthly fees and other fees, neglects to make a payment, in spite of reminder at the latest 30 days after the due date on the invoice or
- The Member violates the Code of Conduct or instructions from staff at Stockholm Pilates Center, risking ill health, personal injury or damage to property of the Member or another.
